Sogidi P. School learners writing using their creative right brains

Sogidi learners in Tangle-wood

12 school principals in Ilembe district have put their school’s name for a right brain workshop in Ndwedwe area on 28 and 29 March. This training will help children to read and to write. The pictures here were taken at Tangle-wood of a fun right brain training Dancing Pencils did for the successful school in that area, Sogidi Primary, under the helm of Principal Nokuthula Sibisi.

For the past four years they have submitted an anthology of stories for publication. The Inzuze circuit manager, Dr Khethiwe Mathe, would like this opportunity for other schools.

NB: But the schools need to find a fee of R5000 each which is a lot in a rural area.
NB: We will need to cancel it if they can’t pay.

We have also tried canvassing businesses in Tongaat as right brain writing will keep the children at school, and off damaging practices like stealing and drug taking. Isolezwe newspaper will also write about the successes of right brain writing.

NB: We have a “donate” button on our website if anyone would like to help.
